Respecting ownership
Members must own or have permission to post recipes, writing, photographs, and videos. Recipe ingredient lists alone may not always be protected, but original writing, photographs, videos, and creative presentation can be.
Submitting a complaint
Use Account & Privacy and select Copyright complaint. Identify the protected work, the Sazón Legacy content, your contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy statement under penalty of perjury, and your physical or electronic signature.
Response and counter-notice
We may remove or restrict disputed material and notify the member. A member may submit an appeal or legally sufficient counter-notice.
Important operational step
La Bandera Kitchen should have counsel review this policy and register a DMCA designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office before relying on DMCA safe-harbor protections.
